SPINNING CANS

This attempt has some interesting features but was far less successful than the spheres. Each can is filled with things that make noises when the cans are rotated, which seemed like a great idea, but turns out that everything sounds about the same when it’s inside a steel can.

And the cans seemed better than the spheres (plastic balls) because they filled the space better with hardly any gaps. But in the end they just like like paint cans on rods, which is just not very romantic or conceptual.

But in order to keep little fingers from reaching into the sharp, square aluminum feet, they are outfitted with cheerful yellow end caps, which look like painted toenails.
